The financial report was sent to board members prior to the meeting and there were no questions or discussion.

Planning for upcoming conference:

The board reviewed 10 proposals from hotels in Las Vegas :  Trump, Planet Hollywood, Caesar’s Palace, Harrah’s Las Vegas , Imperial Palace , Flamingo, Paris Las Vegas, Bally’s Las Vegas , Rio Las Vegas, and The Platinum.

The board voted to begin negotiations with The Platinum as it is a non-casino hotel, room rates would be $109 per night, with a banquet minimum of $3,000 for the meeting rooms.

Other issues regarding the agenda and other activities associated with the conference were delayed until the next meeting.

Next board meeting is scheduled for May 20 at 1:00 p.m. PST.

Respectfully submitted,

Karen Holp, Acting Secretary
